How to create a MySQL connector

Software prerequisites


How to get the login information

  • In the menu on the left side of the page, hover over the Admin section and click on the BI Access subsection.

⚠️If you do not see the BI Access subsection, please contact Datahex support to activate it.

  • All the information you will need for the next steps will be here.
    You can copy the field by clicking on the button on the right.


Creating the MySQL connector

  • Click on Get Data, a new window will appear.

  • Enter MySQL database in the search bar and select this source.

The list of all your forms from Paperless Forms will be shown and you will be able to check the ones you would like to use in your dashboards.

  • Enter the Name of the form you would like to load (NB: Do not enter any space or symbol) in the search bar.

  • Click the name of the form to preview the data.
    Check the box on the left to select the form. You can load multiple forms at the same time.

  • Click Transform Data; the Power Query Editor will be launched for further data transformation.
