How to get the login information

  • In the menu on the left side of the page, hover over the Admin section and click on the BI Access subsection.

All the information you will need for the next steps will be there.
If you do not see the BI Access subsection, please contact Datahex support to activate it.


Creating the MySQL connector

NB: This procedure is being done through Microsoft Power BI, thus could have different or extra steps depending on the software you are using for connecting your data.

  • Click on Get Data and then select MySQL database.
    Then, click on Connect;

  • Taken from the BI Access website page, copy and paste the Server and Database information.
    Then, click on OK;

  • Click on Database on the left, then change the Level to apply the settings to to the longest one, which happens to be the one that will connect to your database.
    This step is really important, otherwise you will get an error message when you will try to connect;

  • Taken from the BI Access website page, copy and paste the Username and Password information.
    Then, click on Connect;

  • The list of all your forms from Paperless Forms will be shown and you will be able to check the ones you would like to use in your dashboards.
