Field with value

This keyword will allow you to search for forms that are currently in progress or archived according to the field and value you've entered. The system will search throughout all your files to find the specific field and value your searched for.
This keyword will try to do a best match with your entry.

Search by Field

When you use the keyword field with value, you need to enter a field and a value to trigger the search.
You may enter a field with one of these ways:

  • Full name of the field, for a precise search of a field

  • Shortened name of the field, for a less precise search of a field, depending on a need you may have or an uncertainty on the exact name

  • Asterisk (*), to search for all the fields containing the searched value

Search by Value

When you use the keyword field with value, you need to enter a field and a value to trigger the search.
You may enter a value with one of these ways:

  • Full text value entry, for a precise search of a value

  • Shortened text value entry, for a less precise search of a value, depending on a need you may have or an uncertainty on the exact value

  • Full numeric value entry, for a precise search of a value

  • Shortened numeric value entry, for a less precise search of a value, depending on a need you may have or an uncertainty on the exact value

  • Asterisk (*), to search for all the values within the searched field

Accurate search in a table

When you use the keyword field with value, you need to enter a field and a value to trigger the search.
If you use multiple times the field with value keyword, you will be able to search accurately for a cell within a table.

You may search for a column in a table, but only if a specific column is accurate too.

For example, in Column A, you have Items and in Column B, you have Compliant/Non Compliant selection.
You may search for a specific item in Column A with: Column A -> Specific Item, then add another criteria with: Column B -> Non Compliant

This way, you will only see when the specific item you searched for has been non compliant.

Search by numeric range

When you use the keyword field with value, you need to enter a field and a value to trigger the search.
You may search for a specific numeric value, but it is also possible to search for a numeric range by using specific criteria.

You may enter a value with one of these ways:

  • < (lesser than)

  • > (greater than)

  • <= (lesser or equal than)

  • >= (greater or equal than)

For example, you could search for a temperature that is greater than 4ºC.
You would then find results using this search:
Name of field >4
